This week has sucked. First we lost Gary Gygax on the fourth, and yesterday, we lost Dave Stevens, the man who brought back the nostalgia of an earlier age with his works, the best known being 'The Rocketeer'.
Which is a shame,because, though The Rocketeer was really farking good, he had done so much more, and even managed to bring Bettie Page out of the shadows and into the world, where she belonged. He amazed Harlan Ellison with his knowledge of jazz, and his pin ups are some of the finest to gaze upon.
Rest well Dave, and look Gary up when you get there.
